Bollocks

I have just lost a 1500 word post. Gone. Disappeared without a sodding trace.

Storming off to cry and hit things now.

Arse.

Here, have a photo. S’all I got.

  1. That photo just gave me an ovary spasm!

  2. Wow! I can’t believe that’s the same boy from a year ago! Such a cutie!

And Boooooo to losing posts- sucks donkeyballs!

  3. Not that 1500 words wouldn’t have been splendid but a king instead is fabulous!

  4. *grins in pleased fashion*
But it was ABOUT the King, and the mild anarchy that was Nativity! Ohhhhhh, I am SO CROSS! Do you hear me, WordPress? CROSS! I could honestly weep; that’s an entire evening I’m never getting back; I’m the world’s slowest writer. Bah. Double Bah!

  5. AND a recipe for ginger cake. NICE ginger cake. FOOLPROOF ginger cak… ok, not foolproof. But nice.

  6. Arse. ARSE. ARSE ARSE ARSE. Would flick passers-by into traffic to get at 1500 words of yours.

Your little king, there, however, is so cute and handsome even H said ‘cute!’ and smiled delightedly. Me, I squeeeeeed.

  7. I do hang on your every word, but that picture comes as close to being worth a thousand words as any I’ve ever seen. It would only be better if you can tell more about it.

  8. That picture is the only thing that could make up for the disappointment I felt when I realized your post was gone. What a wonderful picture! I cannot wait to hear all about the play, when your fingers have recovered. And what a beautiful costume you made, it is a work of art.

  9. I am so sorry — that’s really frustrating. But will it make you smile at all to know that the way it cuts off in Google Reader, it looks like this:

“I have just lost a 1500 word post. Gone. Disappeared without a sodding trace. Storming off to cry and hit things now. Arse. Like this:Be the first to like this post.”

And my first thought was, why is she asking me to like this. It doesn’t sound like she likes losing posts. Why does she imagine other people would enjoy losing posts.

    I’m not that bright.

  10. Seconding Mel’s “Like this post” connundrum… it made me laugh for a moment.

Harry makes a fine king, and I will be very pleased (when you find or recreat that 1500 word post) to learn that he led the rebellion. Adorable. Will you make Halloween costumes for my daughter?

  11. SO CUTE!!!! I just wanna give him an enormous hug.

    A pox upon WordPress.

  12. How cute is H!

  13. Awww…cuteness!

  14. well at least we can give you a record number of comments on a non-post! Lovely pic,

  15. Little boys in Chritmas costumes bring a tear to my eye. Watching the nativity I know that you must have got that ‘heart swelling with pride’ feeling in your chest on how far he’d come and the battles he faced. Hell I have it on Harry’s behalf and I haven’t met him.
My little boy (different battles) is now 23 and my heart will swell next Wednesday when he graduates from university.

  16. I prostrate myself before the King!

And I am Annoyed With Technology, which I only like when it works. When it fails to work, it is the Work of the Devil.
    Grrrrr, WordPress.

I really NEED to read about the Nativity Play. I really, REALLY do.

  17. I am almost embarrassed by the richness of the attire of the adorable King Harry. I’m sure he made the other kings look like paupers!

  18. I’d buy a used Turkish carpet from that boy. Definitely.

  19. I feel your pain but love your photo!

  20. Oh ARSE indeed. But, your miniature king photo is more than compensation. King Harry…I bow down before your magnificence!

  21. this picture is even better knowing about the red dinosaurs waiting to be revealed. tidings of comfort and joy, m’dear.
